September 10-13, 27 Accountability Court Team Members attended the annual Council of Accountability Court Judges (CACJ) Conference. This conference included public health and public safety leaders from around the state working to expand treatment for Georgians impacted by substance use and mental health disorders.
We are extremely proud of Accountability Court staff for the following accomplishments:
- Clinical Director Sarah Sistrunk and Veterans Court Coordinator Nikita Franklin successfully completed the CACJ Coordinators Certification Program and were acknowledged for their accomplishments by the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government.
- Behavioral Health Treatment Court participant James A.’s submitted painting “Isolation” placed second amongst other amazing submissions during the art contest. Six other Fulton County participants entered the contest, and their standout pieces represented the program well.
